In the early hours of Monday the 28th of July 2025, as I was preparing to go to work, I heard a still small voice of the Spirit of God speak to my inner man of the Spirit saying: "The Best Things of Life are Free"
Immediately I brought out my writing materials sat down and made some briefs.
The best things of life are very free.
In our modern world, many people measure value by cost. The more expensive something is, the more it is treasured. But in God's kingdom, the most precious gifts are not bought with money, they are free gifts from a loving and generous Father.
Firstly many have not considered these free things because they appear very cheap and free. They are not purchased with money.
Secondly many are ungrateful, unappreciative and inconsiderate as regards the aforementioned. Thirdly ignorance ( lack of knowledge) have kept many from enjoying ultimately these best things of life.
Fourthly, stubbornness, disobedience and rebellion have hindered many from utilizing God given opportunity to make the most use of the best things of life.
THE GIVER OF ALL FREE THINGS.
The giver of all the best free things of life is God. We should know the things that He has freely given unto us.
[12]Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God."
[17]And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
These free things are not just the best but the very perfect gift."
[17]Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
The perfect gift from above is meant for our blessings and continuous increase on every side and God never adds sorrow with it unlike the enemy of unrighteousness the devil (thief) who comes to steal, kill and destroy.
THE BEST AND FREE THINGS OF LIFE.
What can I man give in the exchange of his soul? and what is the profit in gaining things in the world and loosing one's soul?
Life cannot be bought with money.
LIFE, A FREE GIFT FROM GOD.
Nobody brought himself or herself into the world. Life is a gift of God and should be lived to God pleasure and glory.
Life is more than just existing—it is a sacred gift from the hands of a loving Creator. Whether it is our first breath or our last, every heartbeat testifies of God's grace. Let us not waste this gift. Let us live with gratitude, walk in purpose, and use our lives to glorify the One who gave it.
[11]Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."
we are living souls in earthly vessels called body. Humans are the embodiments of souls, spirits and bodies.
The body without the spirit is dead.
[26]For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."
God gave us freely the gift of life.
God created human beings and all creatures, visible and invisible by Jesus Christ the word of God.
[9]And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
[16]For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:"
Therefore through Christ Jesus we have been given the best Which is life itself, but it's not enough to be alive just aimlessly hence Jesus came for us to have life in abundance.
BEST AND FREE ABUNDANCE OF LIFE
God is love and full of abundance of all good things that makes life enjoyable, interesting and fascinating. This was his original plan before the fall of man.
When man fail by disobedience, LOVE stood tall because He never fails, for God is Love.
For the fact of the above mentioned, God sent his son to the world to reconcile man to Himself and give them life in abundance.
[16]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Jesus said:
[10]The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
JESUS THE BEST AND GREATEST GIFT FROM GOD
Jesus Christ is the best gift of God to humanity, through which other free things of life flows to man.
[10]Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
[16]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
[17]For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
[18]He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
[19]And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."
SALVATION IS FREE, THE PRICE FULLY PAID.
Jesus Christ completely paid for our salvation, through his suffering, death and resurrection.
The greatest free gift of all is salvation. It cannot be earned by works or bought with riches. It is given freely to all who believe in Jesus Christ.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” – Romans 6:23 (KJV)
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” – Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV)
Salvation is not for sale. It is freely offered because of God's grace and love.
Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price for us to have life in abundance which is summarily called salvation which includes: freedom from bondage of SSS : sin, satan and sicknesses, and gave us his PPPPPPPP: Peace, purity, prosperity, progress, patience and power to possess our possessions which are the best of life.
In a world obsessed sin and worldliness, God reminds us that the best thing in life is salvation, and things that accompany salvation.
When one receives salvation:
GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE
MANIFESTATIONAL POWER ETC
[12]But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"
[7]But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal."
HOLY SPIRIT IS FREELY AND READILY AVAILABLE
HOLY GHOST
The Spirit is freely and instantaneously given to all who receive Jesus in their lives for Him to be their Lord, Master and Saviour.
[9]But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
[13]In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
[8]But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
[38]He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
[39](But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)"
"If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” – Luke 11:13 (KJV)
Holy Ghost has come waiting for many to-do the needful because Jesus has been glorified..
1 Corinthians 12:7
[7]But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
[22]But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
[23]Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
The Holy Spirit and His accompanying fruit are completely free. You don’t need money to receive Him; you need faith and an open heart. As rightly stated in Isaiah:
“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat... without money and without price.” – Isaiah 55:1 (KJV
THINGS THAT PERTAIN TO LIFE AND GODLINESS ARE FREELY GIVEN.
When one receives Jesus Christ into his life, God through Christ gives the individual freely all things that pertain to life and godliness ( as aforementioned) through the knowledge of Him that have called us into glory and virtue.
We become partakers of God's divine nature, being spiritual minded we continue to enjoy the dividends of His coming, which is life in its fullness.
[3]According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
[4]Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."
[3]Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:"
ALL ARE HIS
[7]For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?"
Because life is a gift, we must treasure it, steward it, and offer it back to God in worship.
[17]Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
[18]That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
[19]Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life."
True Riches Are Found in Christ. The things that bring the most meaning, peace, and joy in life are not locked behind money or fame. They are freely given by God to those who believe and seek Him. When we recognize and appreciate the value of these divine gifts, our hearts are filled with gratitude and purpose.
THE BEST THINGS OF LIFE ARE FREE.
THEY ARE OURS IN CHRIST.
EMBRACE THE GIVER.
BE APPRECIATIVE.
LIVE TO GOD'S GLORY.
