TOPIC: PROPHESY OVER YOUR FUTURE

Text: Ezekiel 37:1–10; Job 22:28; Proverbs 18:21

🔹 INTRODUCTION

Every believer has a God-ordained destiny, but it doesn’t fulfill itself automatically. God expects us to speak His Word until His will is established in our lives. The future you desire must first be declared before it can be experienced.

Proverbs 18:21 – “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

Your mouth is the steering wheel of your destiny. What you say today determines where you’ll stand tomorrow.

🔹 I. UNDERSTANDING PROPHECY

1. Prophecy Defined:

  • To prophesy means to speak under divine inspiration.
  • It is to declare the mind, purpose, and will of God concerning a person or situation.
  • It is not just foretelling but forth-telling—bringing into manifestation what God has already ordained.

2. Prophecy is a Creative Force:

  • God created the universe by speaking.

Genesis 1:3 – “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”

  • As His children, we are called to operate the same principle.

Genesis 1:26–27 – “Let us make man in our image…”

🔹 II. GOD’S PATTERN OF SPEAKING INTO BEING

A. God Speaks, and It Happens:
Everything God created began with “And God said…”

Psalm 33:6 – “By the word of the LORD were the heavens made.”

B. Jesus Spoke and Manifested the Word:

  • He spoke peace to storms (Mark 4:39).
  • He called Lazarus forth (John 11:43).
  • He declared His resurrection before it happened (Mark 9:31).

C. Ezekiel Spoke to Dry Bones:

  • God didn’t tell him to pray for the bones; He told him to prophesy.

Ezekiel 37:4 – “Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.”

  • The bones responded to prophetic declaration.

🔹 III. WHY YOU MUST PROPHESY OVER YOUR FUTURE

  1. Your Words Carry Power

Proverbs 18:21 – “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.”
Your words determine whether you rise or fall, succeed or fail.

  2. Your Words Are Seeds

Matthew 12:37 – “By your words you are justified, and by your words you are condemned.”
Every declaration today is a seed sown into your tomorrow.

  3. You Have a Prophetic Destiny to Enforce

1 Timothy 1:18 – “War a good warfare with the prophecies spoken over you.”
Prophecy doesn’t fulfill itself; it must be enforced by consistent declaration.

  4. Because the Future Listens to Words

Isaiah 46:10 – “Declaring the end from the beginning.”
God teaches us to call forth the end from the beginning. Speak your future now!

🔹 IV. HOW TO PROPHESY OVER YOUR FUTURE

1. Know the Word of God

Joshua 1:8 – “This Book of the Law shall not depart out of thy mouth…”
You cannot declare what you don’t know. Fill your heart with Scripture.

2. Believe What You Speak

2 Corinthians 4:13 – “I believed, and therefore have I spoken.”
Faith must accompany your words.

3. Speak Consistently and Boldly

Romans 4:17 – “(God)… calleth those things which be not as though they were.”
Keep declaring even when circumstances contradict your confession.

4. Avoid Negative Confession

Numbers 14:28 – “As you have spoken in my ears, so will I do to you.”
Don’t cancel your prophecy with careless talk.

5. Prophesy Until You See Manifestation

Isaiah 55:11 – “My Word… shall not return unto me void.”
Keep declaring until results appear — God’s Word never fails.

🔹 V. PRACTICAL AREAS TO PROPHESY OVER

  1. Your Spiritual Life:

    • “I grow daily in grace and in the knowledge of Christ.”
  2. Your Health:

    • “By His stripes I am healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)
  3. Your Finances:

    • “The Lord shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory.” (Philippians 4:19)
  4. Your Family and Children:

    • “My seed is mighty upon the earth.” (Psalm 112:2)
  5. Your Nation:

    • “Peace be within our walls, and prosperity within our borders.” (Psalm 122:7)

🔹 VI. PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS (Lead the People to Declare)

  • I am a child of prophecy and purpose.
  • My life aligns with the will of God.
  • I am fruitful, favored, and flourishing.
  • No weapon formed against me shall prosper.
  • My future is blessed and secured in Christ.
  • I decree open doors, divine favor, and accelerated progress.
  • Everything concerning my destiny moves from prophecy to manifestation!

🔹 VII.

The future is not something to fear — it is something to create with your words. God has given you the authority to speak life, peace, and prosperity into your tomorrow.

Job 22:28 – “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee.”

When you prophesy according to God’s Word, heaven backs your declaration. Don’t be silent — speak! Your future depends on your voice.

🔹 CLOSING PRAYER

“Lord, put Your Word in my mouth and Your fire in my spirit. Let every prophecy over my life find speedy fulfillment. Teach me to speak life daily and to call forth Your promises until they manifest, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

🔹 FINAL PROPHETIC CHARGE

🗣️ Say this with conviction:

> “I am a prophet to my future.
Every word I speak in alignment with God’s truth shall come to pass.
My life, my family, and my nation are under the influence of divine prophecy.
I shall live to see all God has spoken —
In Jesus’ mighty Name, Amen!”

GOD SPEAKS CONCERNING YOUR FUTURE:

Isaiah 3:10 KJV    "Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him : for they shall eat the fruit of their doings."

Hebrews 6:9-18 KJV   "But beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak."

[10] "For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister."

[11] And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

[12] That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

[13] For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,

[14] Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.

[15] And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

[16] For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.

[17] Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:

[18] "That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:"

Psalm 91:16 KJV

With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Psalm 84:7 KJV

They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

Deuteronomy 33:25 KJV

Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.

Deuteronomy 34:7 KJV

And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

ALIGN WITH GOD

Let your words, thoughts and actions correspond with God's thought (plan) for your life:

Jeremiah 29:11 KJV

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

Psalm 96:3 KJV
"Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people."

Psalm 116:10 KJV
"I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:"

Psalm 107:22 KJV
"And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing."

Psalm 102:21 KJV
"To declare the name of the Lord in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;"

  Job22:28 KJV

"Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways."

God declares the end from the beginning and call those things that are not as though they were thereby bringing them into existence.                                 Therefore we as the offsprings of God should take the bold steps to declaring according to the revealed word of God, what the future holds for us.

We should visualize and prophesy over our lives what the future holds for us in the years ahead.  Picture the next coming years, one year, two years, five years, ten years, twenty years, thirty years, forty years, fifty years, seventy years, eighty years, hundred years etc

Isaiah 43:26 KJV

"Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified."

Matthew 12:35-37 KJV

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

[36] But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

[37] For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

We are the products of our:

 THOUGHTS WORDS & ACTIONS.

Psalm 50:23 KJV"

Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God."

Proverbs 15:2 KJV

"The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness."

Proverbs 18:20-21 KJV

"A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled."

[21] "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."

WE ARE ARCHITECTS OF OUR FORTUNE

The balls are before us, the direction you kick yours, there it goes!
