THE FULNESS OF GOD: Prepared and Purchased for Us

Front Matter

Dedication

To the glory of God, the Fountain of all fullness —
and to every believer who longs to live beyond emptiness,
walking daily in the overflow of His grace.

Acknowledgment

I give all glory to the Almighty God, the Covenant-keeping God and Keeper of Israel, for revealing His fullness through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Special thanks to everyone who has encouraged this message — family, friends, ministers of the gospel, and the body of Christ across nations.
May the revelation of His fullness overflow in your life and ministry.

Preface

The Christian life was never meant to be lived in emptiness, weakness, or lack.
From Genesis to Revelation, God reveals Himself as the God of abundance — the One who fills all things with His presence, power, and purpose.

The “fulness of God” is not a poetic phrase; it is our inheritance in Christ.
Before we were born, God prepared this fullness for us.
Through the sacrifice of Jesus, He purchased it for us.
And through the indwelling Holy Spirit, He pours it into us daily.

This book explores the journey of fullness — from creation to covenant, from Christ to the Church, and finally to eternity.
May it inspire you to walk in the reality of divine completeness and never again settle for spiritual emptiness.

Chapter 1: The Mystery of Divine Fulness

Scripture: “And of His fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.” — John 1:16

Everything that God does reflects His nature — and His nature is fullness.
He is not partial in His goodness, nor limited in His supply.
The oceans, the galaxies, and the abundance of life all testify to a God who never does anything halfway.

In Scripture, fullness speaks of completeness, abundance, and overflow — the state where nothing is missing and nothing is broken.
In Hebrew, it relates to the word “melo” — to fill or to be made full.
In Greek, it is “pleroma,” meaning the total sum, the complete measure, the divine wholeness.

Before creation began, God was already full — not in need of anything.
But out of His fullness, He created all things.
And when humanity fell into sin, He planned redemption — not to give us back fragments of His blessing, but to restore us into His fullness again.

Chapter 2: Fulness in Creation — The Abundance of God’s Glory

Scripture: “The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof.” — Psalm 24:1

In the beginning, the earth was formless and void. Then the Spirit of God moved over the waters.
Wherever God’s Spirit moves, emptiness gives way to fullness.

Every part of creation overflowed with His wisdom, order, and beauty.
The mountains stood firm, the seas roared with life, and the heavens declared His glory. Nothing was lacking.

Creation was God’s first sermon about His nature — that He is the God of fullness.
He filled the earth before placing man in it, showing that His plan always begins in abundance, not scarcity.

Reflection:

God never begins anything half-empty. When He starts, He fills.
If He could fill creation with such splendor, He can fill your life with purpose and power.

Prayer:

Lord, fill every area of my life that is empty with Your presence and purpose.

Chapter 3: Fulness in Covenant — The Faithfulness of God’s Provision

Scripture: “A land flowing with milk and honey.” — Exodus 3:8

When God called Israel out of Egypt, He didn’t just promise escape; He promised abundance.
The covenant land — flowing with milk and honey — represented divine sufficiency, fruitfulness, and joy.

God’s covenant reveals His faithful heart.
He desires His people to live in the overflow of His promises, not in the bondage of lack.

Even in the wilderness, where resources seemed scarce, His covenant provision never failed — manna fell daily, water flowed from the rock, and their garments did not wear out.

Reflection:

God’s covenant brings fullness — not scarcity.
When we walk in obedience and trust, we experience His faithful supply.

Prayer:

Lord, let the blessings of Your covenant flow in every area of my life.

Chapter 4: Fulness in Christ — The Completeness of God Revealed

Scripture: “For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him.” — Colossians 2:9–10

The climax of divine fullness is found in Jesus Christ.
In Him, the invisible God became visible. Every attribute of the Father — love, wisdom, power, grace — was perfectly revealed in Him.

Christ is not a portion of God; He is the full expression of God.
And through His life, death, and resurrection, that fullness has been made available to us.

We are not just forgiven; we are filled.
We are not just rescued from sin; we are restored to divine completeness.

Reflection:

Stop searching for fullness in people or possessions — it is found only in a living relationship with Jesus.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, fill me with Your life, Your grace, and Your completeness.

Chapter 5: Fulness in the Church — Christ Living in His People

Scripture: “The Church… is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all.” — Ephesians 1:22–23

The Church is not merely a gathering of believers; it is the living extension of Christ’s fullness on earth.
Through the Holy Spirit, Jesus continues to fill the world — not through buildings, but through His people.

Every believer carries a measure of divine fullness.
When we walk in unity, love, and power, the Church becomes the visible expression of Christ’s life.

The more the Church yields to the Spirit, the more the world sees the fullness of Jesus through her.

Reflection:

You are not empty — you carry the fullness of Christ.
Live as one who bears His presence everywhere you go.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, fill Your Church again with Your power and love.

Chapter 6: Fulness in Eternity — The Final Completion

Scripture: “That God may be all in all.” — 1 Corinthians 15:28

History is moving toward the final fullness of God’s plan.
When Christ reigns and all creation is restored, we will live in perfect harmony with His presence forever.

The fullness that began in Genesis will be perfected in Revelation — where there will be no more tears, no more pain, and no more lack.
God’s glory will fill all things, and His presence will be the light of eternity.

Reflection:

The fullness that began in Genesis will be perfected in Revelation.
Live today in anticipation of that eternal glory.

Prayer:

Lord, prepare me for that eternal fullness where You are all in all.

Chapter 7: The Price of Fulness — Purchased by the Blood

Scripture: “You are bought with a price.” — 1 Corinthians 6:20

This divine fullness was not free — it was purchased.
At Calvary, Jesus bore our emptiness, shame, and separation from God.
He was emptied of glory so that we might be filled with grace.

Through His blood, He paid the full price for our redemption.
The inheritance of fullness — once lost in Adam — has been restored in Christ.

Reflection:

The blood of Jesus didn’t just cleanse us; it positioned us for divine fullness.

Prayer:

Thank You, Lord, for paying the full price for my completeness. Help me live daily in the abundance You purchased for me.

Chapter 8: Walking in the Fulness of God

Scripture: “Be filled with the Spirit.” — Ephesians 5:18

Fullness is not a one-time experience; it is a daily walk.
We are filled to overflow as we stay connected to the Source — the Holy Spirit.

To walk in fullness means to live continually aware of His presence, to obey His voice, and to let His power flow unhindered through us.
The more we surrender, the more He fills.

Reflection:

Fulness grows in yieldedness. Empty yourself of pride, fear, and sin — and God will fill you again.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, fill me afresh each day. Let my life overflow with Your joy, wisdom, and power.

Conclusion: Living in the Overflow

From Creation to Covenant, from Christ to the Church, and into Eternity —
the story of the Bible is the story of God filling emptiness with His glory.

Wherever you feel empty — in your heart, home, or nation — remember:
God specializes in filling the void until nothing is lacking.

“My cup runneth over.” — Psalm 23:5

He prepared His fullness before time.
He purchased it through the cross.
And now He pours it into every believer who will receive.

Live no longer as the empty, but as the filled.
For you have been chosen to carry the Fulness of God — prepared and purchased for you.

Final Prayer

Lord, You are the God of all fullness and abundance.
I receive the life You prepared for me and the grace You purchased for me.
Fill my heart, fill my home, fill my nation with Your presence.
Let my life overflow with Your love until the whole earth is filled with Your glory.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Afterword — Living in the Reality of Fulness

The journey of fullness is not merely a theological concept — it is the believer’s everyday reality.
God’s fullness is not reserved for a distant heaven; it is available here and now through the indwelling Holy Spirit.

To live in fullness is to live conscious of divine supply in every circumstance.
It means refusing to live below your inheritance, and instead walking boldly in the grace that has been prepared by the Father, purchased by the Son, and poured out by the Spirit.

Many live as if redemption only removed sin; but in truth, it restored everything sin stole.
Joy. Peace. Purpose. Power. Fellowship with God.

Every believer is a vessel of divine abundance — filled not for self, but to overflow.
This is the essence of the Christian life: Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Let this message stir your faith to believe again —
that there is no emptiness God cannot fill,
no dryness He cannot rain upon,
no brokenness He cannot restore,
and no heart He cannot make overflow.

So rise daily with confidence:
You carry the Fulness of God — and the world will see His glory through you.
