Pilgrim's Gratitude to the Almighty God

Pilgrim's Gratitude to the Almighty God

THANKSGIVING AND APPRECIATION

“The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.” – Psalm 126:3

Gratitude to the Almighty God

With joy and gratitude, I lift my voice in thanks to the Almighty God — the Covenant-keeping God and Keeper of Israel — for His unfailing faithfulness throughout our pilgrimage from Nigeria to Jordan, through Israel, and safely back home.
His mighty hand of mercy, protection, and favor guided every step and turned every moment into a testimony of His goodness. Truly, “The Lord is faithful in all His ways and holy in all His works” (Psalm 145:17). To Him be all the glory!

Appreciation to the Executive Governor

In the same spirit of appreciation, I extend heartfelt thanks to His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, the Executive Governor of Imo State, for his generous sponsorship and visionary leadership that made this life-transforming journey of faith possible.
Your commitment to the spiritual growth of Imo citizens stands as a shining example of godly leadership. May the Lord continue to increase you in wisdom, strength, and divine favor, as greater blessings flow unhindered.

Commendation to the NCPC Team

A special word of gratitude also goes to Rev. Fr. Prof. Gilbert Alaribe and his dedicated team at the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC) for their humility, patience, endurance, cooperation, and exemplary service throughout the pilgrimage.
Your selfless dedication and meticulous coordination ensured that every moment of the journey was smooth, meaningful, and spiritually enriching. “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love.” (Hebrews 6:10)

Acknowledgment of Fellow Pilgrims and Support Staff

I also deeply appreciate our tour guides, bus captains, fellow pilgrims, bus drivers, and hotel management. Your combined efforts made the experience informative, inspiring, uplifting, life-changing, colorful, and truly memorable. Each person played a vital role in making this journey a testimony of God’s faithfulness and grace.

A Call to Live Out What We Have Learned

Pilgrimage: Not a Tour, but a Transformation

Beloved fellow pilgrims, as we rejoice and give thanks, let us also remember that pilgrimage is not an end in itself but a divine beginning — a call to higher responsibility and deeper fellowship with God.
We did not embark on this sacred journey for funfare or leisure, but to encounter the living God in the lands where His presence was revealed — to be transformed, rekindled, and renewed in faith and purpose.

“Be ye doers of the Word, and not hearers only.” (James 1:22)

Reflecting Christ in All Spheres of Life

Now that we have returned, the true pilgrimage begins — the daily walk of faith in our homes, workplaces, churches, and communities. The lessons we learned in the Holy Land must not remain as memories or photographs; they must manifest in our words, actions, and relationships.
Let the humility of Bethlehem, the obedience of Nazareth, the compassion of Capernaum, the sacrifice of Calvary, and the victory of the Empty Tomb shape how we live, lead, and love.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)

Transforming Society Through Faith

We are now ambassadors of Christ and representatives of the Kingdom of God in our generation. The encounters, teachings, and revelations we received must inspire us to forgive more, serve better, love deeper, and live holier.
Let us use the wisdom, spiritual insight, and renewed passion gained during the pilgrimage to build stronger families, influence our communities positively, and contribute to the moral and spiritual revival of our State and Nation.

If every pilgrim lives out the virtues of Christ in daily life, our homes will experience peace, our communities will be reformed, our State will be renewed, and our Nation will be revived. “Righteousness exalteth a nation.” (Proverbs 14:34)

Continuing the Journey of Faith

As we return from the Holy Lands, may the fire of faith we received there never grow dim. Let us continue in prayer, fellowship, and the study of God’s Word, allowing His Spirit to transform us from within.
May our lives continually proclaim the message of grace and redemption, declaring to all: “Come and see what the Lord has done!” (Psalm 66:5)

Conclusion

The pilgrimage has ended, but the mission continues. Let us go forth as living witnesses of Christ’s love, bringing light into dark places and hope into weary hearts.
May the Lord who began this good work in us perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:6)

The Lord remains faithful! Hallelujah!
